杭州杭港地铁有限公司（杭港地铁）系杭州市属大型企业杭州市地铁集团有限责任公司与香港知名上市公司香港铁路有限公司在杭州共同组建的合作企业。股权共归双方所有，其中杭州市地铁集团全资拥有的杭州地铁一号线投资有限公司占51%股份，香港铁路有限公司全资拥有的港铁杭州一号线投资有限公司占49%股份。2012年9月28日，杭州市政府与杭州杭港地铁有限公司签署地铁一号线特许经营协议，特许经营权为25年。

杭州地铁1号线是浙江省杭州市第一条建成运营的地铁线路，由杭州杭港地铁有限公司运营管理。于  2012年11月24日开通运营一期工程（湘湖站至文泽路站/临平站），全长48.1公里，共有31座车站。2015年11月24日开通运营二期工程（文海南路站至下沙江滨站），全长53.5公里，共有34座车站。2020年12月30日开通运营三期工程（杭州大会展中心站至萧山国际机场站），全长达到64.7公里，共包括39座车站。2021年7月10日，杭州地铁1号线客运中心站（不含）至临平站拆分为杭州地铁9号线运营。拆分后，杭州地铁1号线全长53公里，共有33座车站。

 

 

    Hangzhou MTR Corporation Limited (HZMTR), a joint venture of MTR Hangzhou Line 1 Investment Corporation Limited (shareholding 49%) and Hangzhou Metro line 1 Investment Corporation Limited. MTR Hangzhou Line 1 Investment Corporation Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of MTR Corporation.

On September 28, 2012, HZMTR signed a Public-Private-Partnership Concession Agreement with Hangzhou Municipal Government for HZL1, and the concession period is 25 years.

    Hangzhou Metro Line 1 is the first subway line completed and operated in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is operated and managed by HZMTR. The first phase of operation (Xianghu Station to Wenze Road Station/Linping Station) was opened on November 24, 2012, with a total length of 48.1 kilometers and a total of 31 stations. The second phase of operation (South Wenhai Road Station to Xiashajiangbin Station) was opened on November 24, 2015, with a total length of 53.5 kilometers and a total of 34 stations. The third phase of the project (Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center Station to Xiaoshan International Airport Station) will be opened on December 30, 2020, with a total length of 64.7 kilometers and a total of 39 stations. On July 10, 2021, Hangzhou Metro Line 1 Coach Center Station (excluding) to Linping Station was merged into Line 9 for operation. After the modification work, Hangzhou Metro Line 1 has a total length of 53 kilometers and a total of 33 stations.
